You're Already In. Here's What That Means.

If you're reading this, you have a free membership waiting for you.

Not a trial. Not a limited preview. A full membership to the Lift-Off Launchpad — the private community I built for professionals who are serious about turning insight into portable assets. As a subscriber to this newsletter, your seat is already reserved. All you have to do is claim it.

This edition is your introduction to what the Launchpad is, why I built it, and what I need you to do next.

What Is the Lift-Off Launchpad?

The Lift-Off Launchpad is a private Skool community built around one operating premise: professionals who build Transferable Capital — portable assets that belong to them, not their employer — navigate career transitions with agency instead of anxiety.

Everything inside the Launchpad is organized around that premise.

The community is structured around the Lift-Off Framework — the four-stage arc I developed from my own career experience and formalized in my book, Laid Off to Lift-Off. The stages are Fall, Pivot, Build, and Lift-Off. Where you are in that arc determines what you need next. The Launchpad helps you figure out exactly that — and then do something about it.

Inside, you'll find frameworks you can actually apply, conversations grounded in real career decisions, and direct access to me. Not a chatbot. Not a community manager. Me. When you post a question about your situation, I answer it.

The Launchpad is where the work that this newsletter points to actually gets done.

Why I Built It

I spent over two decades in corporate America. I held roles in electrical engineering, IT program management, marketing leadership, and diversity — across companies like Best Buy, Be The Match, and Andersen Windows & Doors. I was loyal. I was credentialed. I was, by every institutional measure, doing the right things.

Then a restructure eliminated my position.

What I discovered in that moment — and what I've spent the years since studying, living, and teaching — is that most professionals build everything on borrowed ground. The title, the access, the identity, the income — all of it tied to an institution that can change the terms at any time. When the institution moves, they have nothing that travels with them.

That experience became Laid Off to Lift-Off. The book became the Transferable Capital framework. The framework became this newsletter. And the newsletter — the community of people who've been nodding along, applying the concepts, and asking for more — made it clear that a next layer was needed.

The Launchpad is that layer. A place to go deeper. A place to build, not just read.

Who Gets In

Membership to the Lift-Off Launchpad isn't open to everyone. It's curated — because the quality of the community is part of what makes it worth being in.

Here's how membership works:

Subscribers to this newsletter get free membership. That's you. You've already demonstrated that this framework is relevant to your professional life. Your seat is waiting.

Readers who complete Laid Off to Lift-Off get free membership. Finishing the book signals something. It tells me you're not looking for inspiration — you're looking for a system. The Launchpad is where that system lives in community.

Professionals who complete any Transferable Capital offer — including the Clarity Session or any future coaching engagement — get free membership as part of their experience. The Launchpad is the ongoing environment where the work you start in those sessions continues.

If you've done the reading, done the work, or done both — you belong here.

What the Launchpad Is Not

It is not a Facebook group. It is not a Discord server full of noise and announcements. It is not a passive community where you lurk for six months and wonder why nothing changed.

The Launchpad has a standard. You show up, you engage, you build. The community isn't designed to make you feel good about where you are. It's designed to help you get somewhere better.

Your Next Step: Complete the Onboarding

Here's what I need you to do right now.

Go to theliftofflaunchpad.com and create your account. Once you're inside, you'll find a short onboarding process. Complete it. Don't skip it.

The onboarding is designed to do three things: establish where you are in the Lift-Off Framework, clarify what you're building, and introduce you to the community in a way that makes your first conversation easy. It takes less than ten minutes and sets the foundation for everything you'll do inside.

The seat is free. The access is immediate. The only thing between you and the community is the onboarding.

Three Actions

This week: Go to theliftofflaunchpad.com, create your account, and complete the onboarding. Introduce yourself to the community. Tell us where you are — Fall, Pivot, Build, or Lift-Off.

This quarter: Identify one piece of Transferable Capital you will build before the quarter closes. Bring it into the Launchpad. Let the community hold you to it.

Structurally: Stop treating your professional development like a subscription you consume. Start treating it like a construction project. The Launchpad is the job site. Show up.

The Link, One More Time

Your membership is free. Your seat is waiting. The onboarding takes ten minutes.

I'll see you inside.

The right leader changes everything. Build the right leader first.
